Anushakti Nagar SC register a narrow 2-1 win

Anushakti Nagar SC beat Tarun Sporting 2-1 in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division, Group D match held on Wednesday, 29th December 2021.

This hard-fought win had late goals as both teams failed to convert chances early on their match. Leading to a 0-0 scoreline at the break.

The match came to life in the 67th minute as Vaibhav Vaskar broke the deadlock to give Anushakti Nagar SC the lead. Abhishek Khajul handed them a two-goal cushion scoring in the 81st minute.

It looked like Anushakti Nagar SC would be heading for a comfortable win but Tarun Sporting made the final few minutes pretty nervy for their opponents. Rahul Majhi pulling one back for Tarun Sporting in the
89th minute.

Any late drama didn’t happen as Anushakti Nagar SC went on to win 2-1.
