Bombay Muslim SC hold on to register their first win of the season

Bombay Muslim SC beat Mumbai Strikers SC by 2-1 in their Mumbai Football Association, Elite Private League match held on Tuesday, 12th April, 2022

Having drawn one and lost three of their last four matches, Bombay Muslim SC were looking to get their first win of the season today.

It was a hard fought win as they lead 2-0 until the 89th minute and then Mumbai Strikers SC pulled one back to half the deficit and making the final few minutes pretty nervy.

With pretty much the entire hour going goalless, the breakthrough came in the second minute when Sohail Khan scored the opener with the assist from Vishal Magre. The second goal came in the 76th minute when Sohail once again was in the right place to round off the scoring, with the assist coming from Meraj Khan.

Joseph D’mello pulled one back for Mumbai Strikers SC in the 90th minute but Bombay Muslim SC held on to register their first win of the season.
