Clinical Friends United get off the mark with a 3-0 win

Friends United won 3-0 against D’Souza FA (A) in their Mumbai Football Association, Second Division Group B held on Saturday, 19th February 2022.

Mahesh Poojary scored a first-half brace to ensure a comfortable 2-0 lead at the break. Amogh Athalekar added a third in second-half stoppage time. Three goals, three points and off the mark in the win column.

The match produced three yellow cards. Friends United had lost 1-0 and 3-1 previously. This win gives them a much needed momentum for the rest of the fixtures.
