Colaba Sports Academy and Fr Agnel Gymkhana involved in a goalfest

Colaba Sports Academy(CSA) drew 3-3 against Fr. Agnel Gymkhana in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division, Group A match held on Wednesday, 23rd February 2022.

An end to end football match with nothing to separate the two sides, Colaba Sports Academy were held to a 3-3 draw by Fr Agnel Gymkhana.

The balance of the match shifted rapidly from one side to another. Keval Pagdhare opened the scoring for CSA in the 22nd minute. What followed in the next few minutes was a sensational response from Fr Agnel Gymkhana.

Shashank Jhakar equalised immediately in the 22nd minute. Sukhraj Dhillon put Fr. Agnel in front in the 26th minute. A frantic five minutes of football action.

Chitresh Tandel equalised to make it 2-2 for CSA and we headed into halftime where we started, all square. Chitresh then scored his second of the match and put CSA 3-2 up. The lead had now changed for the third time.

When the three points were almost in grasp, Vishnu R equalised for Fr. Agnel Gymkhana to make it 3-3 in the 85th minute. No side willing to retreat, this match turned into a goal-fest with both sharing a point. Entertaining, high stakes draw in the Super Division.

Colaba Sports Academy’s three-win run came to a halt with this draw. Fr. Agnel Gymkhana avoided back to back defeats by scoring the equaliser for the second time in the match.
