Fr Agnel Gymkhana score a late winner to complete a turn around

Fr Agnel Gymkhana beat West Zone United FC 2-1 in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division, Group A match held on Tuesday, 8th February, 2022.

In an action packed match, Fr Agnel Gymkhana managed to turn around a one-goal deficit and score late to wrap up all three points.

Farooque Khan gave West Zone United FC the lead in the 5th minute. Izaan Shaikh levelled for Fr Agnel Gymkhana just four minutes later. A fiery start to the match which ended 1-1 at the break.

With all to play for in the second 45 minutes both teams had a cautious approach. But the winner arrived in the 89th minute as forward Ajinkya Kadam scored the winner.

There was very little time for the equaliser but in the end Fr Agnel Gymkhana managed to hold on to their 2-1 lead. Three goals scored in the match but three points to Fr Agnel Gymkhana.
