Heramba Koli’s late equaliser rescues a point for West Zone United

West Zone United and Veniza Virar FC were involved in a classic 2-2 draw in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division Group A match on Thursday, 16th December 2021.

Both the teams came out hungry for the win ans were in no mood to settle. Rishar Kotian opened the scoring in the 5th minute as Veniza Virar went ahead. His opener was cancelling out by Karan Jaiswar as the clock struck 30 minutes. Just as both teams were looking to head in at 1-1 at the break, Aditya Andhale put Veniza Virar ahead threw a shot of a genius.

West Zone trailed the game for the majority of the second half but their efforts finally paid of as Heramba Koli turned to be their rescuer netting the equaliser in the 89th minute.

Veniza Virar FC very close from a win had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
