New eco friendly St Xavier’s stadium to open soon

The BMC is constructing two underground tanks – at Pramod Mahajan Kala Park in Dadar and St Xavier’s Ground in Parel – to ensure no flooding takes place in Hindmata. The tank at St Xavier’s will have storage capacity of 1- crore liter.

After the construction

The notion is that once the construction work is over, the Mumbai Football Association will have a new eco-friendly turf. The St. Xavier’s Ground in Parel has been shut from past one year for a good cause and despite the delay, the officials are quite excited and filled with enthusiasm about the upcoming development as this will mean an upgrade through a state-of-the-art level of infrastructure.
