Rhema Sports Foundation comeback from 3-0 down to rescue a point

Rhema Sports Foundation drew 3-3 against Mumbai Soccer Prodigies in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division Group D match. This match held on Friday, 4th March 2022.

Rhema Sports Foundation made a comeback from 3-0 down to 3-3. The point saving equaliser came in the 89th minute in what can be called a game of two halves.

Gaurav Adhikari scored in the 8th minute and Shavez Surve doubled the lead for Mumbai Soccer Prodigies inside the first 15 minutes.

Sanskaar Raheja buried the third for Mumbai Soccer Prodigies in the 51st minute as they took a commanding 3-0 lead. In what seemed like a game done and dusted, the last 23 minutes of the match proved to be a game-changer.

Bhargav Thakur started the comeback in the 67th minute. Saumil Damor scored the second immediately in the 68th minute to reduce the deficit to one. Mumbai Soccer Prodigies were still leading 3-2.

The equaliser for Rhema Sports Foundation came in the 89th minute through Saumil Damor who scored his second.

A cracking match that produced six goals ended in a 3-3 draw with both teams sharing a point.
