Two late goals wins it for Spartans Sports Academy

Spartans Sports Academy won 2-0 against Springfield in their Mumbai Football Association, Super Division, Group B match held on Saturday, 5th March 2022.

Spartans Sports Academy and Spring were involved in an epic battle. The match went goalless until the 87th minute.

The breakthrough came in the 88th minute when Joel D’Souza put Spartans ahead. There was very little time for Springfield to respond. As they went ahead in search of the equaliser, Spartans responded with a second goal.

Ankit Saxena secured the win in the fifth minute of stoppage time. This goal gave Spartans Sports Academy a two-goal cushion and with that the win.
