U13 YPL 2025: A Platform for Skill, Growth, and Dreams
The U13 Yuva Presidents League 2025 was another important step on Mumbai’s grassroots football ladder—a chance for young talents to sharpen their skills, learn to deal with pressure, and compete against the best in their age group.
This year’s league brought together passionate teams ready to prove themselves at Neville D’Souza Turf. From precise passing patterns to strong defensive set-ups, the level of football was a testament to the work being put in at academies across the city.
The Grand Finale
The final match was a showcase of attacking football, with Mumbai City FC delivering an impressive 6-1 win over Total Football Academy. Their clinical finishing, fluid teamwork, and tactical discipline were on full display as they claimed the U13 YPL title in style.
But the scoreline didn’t diminish the effort of TFA, who fought hard all the way and showed why they earned their place in the final.
Honouring Champions and Runners-Up
The award ceremony was a proud moment for all involved. Trophies and medals were presented to recognise not just victory, but also the countless hours of training, teamwork, and determination these young players showed all season.
Special Guests, Special Encouragement
Hon. President Shri Aaditya Thackeray and Indian footballer Mr. Raju Gaikwad graced the ceremony. Their presence sent an important message—that Mumbai Football Association is committed to building structured, competitive platforms that give our kids the exposure they need to grow.
More Than Just a Tournament
The U13 YPL is designed to be that critical stepping stone where raw talent is moulded through proper competition. Players learn to handle setbacks, embrace team roles, and execute game plans—skills they’ll carry with them as they move up the ranks.
As this season ends, Mumbai’s football family can look forward to watching these boys continue their journeys with even more belief and hunger to succeed.
